Oh man, this is the dreaded first post. The post no one knows what to write about. I have so many ideas for posts but none would suffice for a decent Introduction. So let me introduce myself.
My name is Maximiliane Smith. I’m way too clumsy for my own good (which is why I often have bruises that I don’t know how got there), and when I have a new project in hand I can go totally overboard and forget everything around me. Most important fact to know about me? Food. I love food. Probably too much for my own good, but I love experimenting in the kitchen with whole foods and coming up with recipes with very few ingredients. Health is my jam (if it were music at least) and I believe in achieving it through balance in all areas of life. I’m a wannabe yogi, wandering spirit, and lover of all art forms.
Now you might be asking yourself, why I want to blog (or maybe not). To be honest, I just want to write, connect with others and express myself. I’ve been wanting to write a blog for forever and I’ve attempted (unsuccessfully) to publish one without feeling like I want to delete everything a day later. I want to inspire you to live your best life imaginable and to create a better balance in life. Of course I don’t have all the answers (though that would be nice), and most things I’ll probably post will be things I’ve tried and experimented with (but haven’t perfected). I want to prove to people that being and eating healthy isn’t a trend, it’s a way of life. Healthy food doesn’t have to taste bland and it doesn’t have to be expensive. You can make delicious meals with minimal ingredients.
I have so much to say and I hope you’ll stick along for the ride. Bear with me and follow along as I learn and make mistakes.
