I don’t know why I’ve never attempted making my own protein bars before. I mean, I’ve pretty much tried everything else: protein bites, protein muffins, protein pancakes, waffles, cakes, cookies, the list goes on…And I’m pretty sure that this will be the start of a new experimentation phase, so just as a forewarning: there will be more homemade protein bar recipes coming soon! (You have been warned!)
What I love so much about these protein bars is that they’re simple to make, don’t make a ton of mess in the kitchen (less to clean up = happier me), and take less than 15 minutes to fix. Who wouldn’t like that? They also taste really yummy, though if you’re taking it with you to work or school, pack a napkin as well (the eating process is a bit on the messy side). That being said, the messy fingers, and the chocolate drizzle that somehow makes its way to the corner of your mouth are totally worth it!
I hope you guys enjoy it!
Love,
