This is embarrassing for me to share, but I’ve had some pretty bad acne in the past. I remember I’d drive my mom crazy, because I’d walk around with my head down, big sunglasses and a baseball cap feeling like a monster. I’d borrow my mom’s concealer everyday and cry because I felt like when people would talk to me, they’d be staring at my acne instead. It shouldn’t have been such a big deal, but I’ll admit even nowadays when I see a slight raise in my skin my head goes into panic mode.
Anyway, there are two major things I felt improved my skin:
- Natural Skin Care Products
I changed my nutrition to a mostly vegetable, fruit and meat diet with some nuts here and there. We toyed with the Elimination Diet for a while, which was tedious but oh so rewarding in the long run. I found out which foods caused inflammation/acne, which caused stomach problems and others that fueled anxiety. I’ll have to write a whole different post on the elimination diet, but for now I’m going to focus on the skin care products.
The Skin Care Products I use are Shaklee’s Enfuselle Nutrition Kit. I use the Balancing Toner, Cleanser, A.M. Cream, P.M. Cream, Acne Treatment and it works! I’ve tried so many other natural beauty products with minimal improvement, but this seems to really work. My skin glows and looks healthier than ever! I just can’t imagine living without it.
